Hey everyone! First of all I really want to thank everyone so much for already putting up so much content in this brand new community! And next I want to apologize for being so slow with my own contributions!! Work has been insanely busy lately, but I've finally found time to translate the recent release information.

First, here's the info from the official NICO website.

The first new single for 2011!

In 2010, NICO, all aged 25, kept up a grueling pace as they participated in a great many concerts, festivals, and school events all across the country, significantly raising their scale as a band. They'll be maintaining that speed as they make a starting dash into the new year! Of all the new songs performed during the 2010 tour, "Michinakimichi," "Diver" had the most requests to be released as a single. As an answer to the fans' requests, NICO brushed up the song, rearranging it after its initial concert version, presented it as the opening theme for "Naruto - Shippuuden," and will release it as a single! When it was distributed early as a ring tone, it earned NICO their first number one ranking on Rekochoku's daily chart, and it was number two on the monthly chart! The coupling track, "Yuujou sanka," has only been performed once, at NICO's first ever one-band show, and the song had nearly disappeared, like an illusion. It was performed again during NICO's first school festival tour, and was widely talked about. It's an innovative song, filled with memories from Mitsumura's (vocal, guitar) own school festival. In addition, the bonus tracks were recorded at CC Lemon Hall on October 7th, at the 2010 concert "EastxWest Apollo and Luna ~Night of Luna~," and capture all the passion of a live show. These songs are like a full body-slam, a concentrated version of all of NICO's energy from 2010!

(At the end of this article, it also mentions that there are some NARUTO stickers that come with the CD's as special gifts, but I'm not 100% sure about what they're saying about the stickers. One is called a "wide cap" sticker and one is a clear sticker. Also, there is a special gift that you can get if you buy the first press release and also the DVD at the same time.)

The last show from the flaming hot tour will become NICO's first live house DVD!

After their first experience playing at the Budoukan, NICO took on a new challenge: visiting all the locations they'd never been before, and playing different songs at each show. This was an unprecedented kind of tour, "Michinakimichi." Each one of these days went by as though burning up, and produced many new songs and anecdotes, and the final day of the tour, June 12th at Yokohama Blitz, was recorded. This densely packed forty minutes of NICO's unique and powerful melodies, as well as a mood that could only be captured at a live house, will be released for the special price of 1,980 yen!

Ohhhhhhh... an old piece finally getting a release! I'm curious about that b-side and the history behind it.

I wonder what the special gift is. I hope it's available at all retailers.

Yeah... now that I've calmed down, 7 songs will just be too short, even if the price is much lower.

Thanks for the translation. :) It's great to know more about the release rather than just looking at the tracklist.
